Tyler Reyes has received an offer from Perkiomen School (PA) to continue his academics and basketball at the prep level beginning his junior year next fall. Born and raised in the Philippines, Reyes brings both an elite athletic profile and a 3.9 GPA to his recruitment. He currently competes on the AAU circuit with Midwest Basketball Club Stokes.

Interior Scoring & Physical Presence

Reyes's offensive value starts inside. He establishes deep position, finishes through contact, and uses his strength to convert high-percentage looks around the rim. He plays with purpose in the paint, embraces physical matchups, and consistently applies pressure to opposing frontcourts. He understands how to seal defenders, carve out space, and score efficiently without forcing action.

Rebounding Impact & Second-Chance Value

On the glass, Reyes is a consistent presence. He rebounds with strength and intent, secures the ball in traffic, and generates second-chance opportunities for his team. His physicality allows him to control space on both ends of the floor. He finishes possessions defensively and provides extra opportunities offensively a key value point for frontcourt players.

Defensive Anchor & Paint Protection

Defensively, Reyes provides stability in the paint. He contests shots, alters finishes, and uses his size to deter penetration. His awareness in help-side situations allows him to protect the rim while staying disciplined within team defensive concepts. He communicates well defensively and embraces the role of anchoring the interior.

Competitive Environment & Development Curve

Reyes's experience on the EYBL stage has accelerated his development. Competing against elite national competition has sharpened his physical readiness, confidence, and understanding of the game. His continued growth within high-level environments points to strong long-term upside.

What He Brings to a Program

Reyes brings size, physicality, and interior reliability. He strengthens the frontcourt, controls the glass, and provides a defensive anchor. Coaches can trust him to embrace physical play, defend with purpose, and contribute to winning basketball. He fits well in systems that value strong interior presence, rebounding, and paint protection.

A High-Upside Frontcourt Prospect in the 2028 Class

With his size, strength, and two-way impact, Tyler Reyes stands out as a high-upside forward/center in the 2028 class. His ability to control the paint, rebound consistently, and defend the rim gives him immediate value, with significant upside as his offensive skill set continues to expand. As he continues to develop his touch and overall offensive polish, Reyes projects as a frontcourt player capable of impacting winning early at the collegiate level.
